Six things are Platinum-only: your own domain, private pages with a password and age gate, full link-preview control, animated tab titles, copy protection and scheduled links. Everything else is simply a bigger number — 12 layouts instead of 8, 32 effects instead of 22, 25 GB instead of 1 GB, a year of analytics instead of a month.
Platinum is $7.99 once. Not per month, not per year. You pay once and the account keeps it permanently, including everything we add to the tier later.
Every page render issues a short-lived signed token. A view only counts if that token comes back with a real dwell time and real interaction, from a browser that looks like a browser. On top of that we score repeat visitors, bursts from a single network, missing browser headers and automation flags. Anything that scores too high is recorded but never added to your counter.

No, and there is no plan to. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics and no trackers of any kind. We count page views ourselves and never share them. The $7.99 is the entire business model, which is exactly why it is not free.
Yes, on Platinum. Point a CNAME at us and your page serves from your domain with a certificate issued automatically. You can also serve your uploads from a domain you own, so shared files carry your name rather than ours.
Nothing, because there is nothing to stop paying. Platinum is one payment, not a subscription, so it cannot lapse. We keep no card on file.
Within 30 days, for any reason, just ask. That is more generous than the 14-day statutory right in the UK and EEA, and it applies wherever you live.
Yes. Everything we hold about you downloads as JSON from your account page, including your links, widgets and settings. Your uploads stay downloadable too. We do not hold your page hostage.
Images, video, audio and documents. 50 MB per file on the free plan with 1 GB of total space, 500 MB per file and 25 GB on Platinum. Every upload is checked against its real file signature rather than trusting the extension, so nothing can be disguised as something else.
By default yes, because most people want to be findable. You can turn indexing off per page in Sharing, and pages marked sensitive are excluded from search and from Explore automatically.
Yes, from Account. Your old name is released immediately so someone else can take it, which is why aliases exist — an alias keeps redirecting to you permanently. Free gets 3, Platinum gets 15.
Report the page at /legal/report, or email support@dreaded.lol. Impersonation designed to deceive is a breach of our terms and we act on it. Obvious parody and fan pages are allowed.
One button in Account, and it is immediate rather than a 30-day grace period. Your page, links, uploads and analytics go with it. Payment records survive because tax law requires it.
Yes, on the free plan, using any authenticator app. You also get backup codes, and every other session is signed out whenever you change your password.
